CD1DX MK III

The CD1DX MK III housing

provides access to all functions of the Canon EOS 1DX/DC MKIII. Start and stop of the video function can be operated from the right-hand grip. The ergonomics are unsurpassed for this housing as well; as the only manufacturer, we offer optimized access to start-stop of the video function for the EOS 1DX/C.

The camera is precisely guided on a special carriage, installation errors are excluded. For maximum security, an oversized O-ring and the SUBAL QuickLock closure system ensure that accidental pinching of the O-ring is excluded. The well-shaded monitor window provides a glare-free view of the brilliant image of the camera monitor, thus ideally supporting the camera’s HD video function. Threads at the base allow for the attachment of rails, etc. Lightweight pilot lamps can be attached to the top accessory shoe. The most extensive equipment is complemented by excellent viewfinder optics. Optional, both the magnifying viewfinder optics GS 180 and the also magnifying, 360° rotatable viewfinder WS 45 with an oblique view under 45°, can be installed.

Material selection, processing, surface protection, and finish correspond to the usual quality level that has led to the proverbial reliability of SUBAL products.

All SUBAL front ports with bayonet connection can be used with this housing!

Sea-water resistant aluminum alloy worked from the block, highest surface hardness and corrosion resistance through hard coating. All parts made of hard-anodized lightweight metal, acid-resistant stainless steel, and highest quality plastics. Sealing through seamless precision O-rings. SUBAL QuickLock closure system.
